241 Pharmacists participated in Refresher Course at Vadodara

Parul Institute of Pharmacy in association with Gujarat State Pharmacy Council organized “Refresher Course for Registered Pharmacist” on 6th and 7th July 2019.

The program started with Inaugural function. Dr.Abhay Dharamsi, Principal, Parul Institute of Pharmacy welcomed the gathering. Dr. Shrikant V Joshi, Executive Committee Member, GSPC, Chief quest of the Inaugural function, inspired and encouraged the audience with his motivational speech. First day there were four speeches. The speakers were highly qualified and experience in the topic delivered. Participants were satisfied with the talk delivered and the knowledge shared with real life examples. The first speech is of executive Officer, GSPC, Ms. Khushi Pathak who first introduces GSPC and its activity to the audience followed by her talk on medication error. Then after three other speakers also enlighted the delegates with their informative speeches.

Second day started with speech of Mrs. Avani Khristi. It was followed by other speeches. Mr. Parimal Patel, Drug Inspector, FDCA, was very happy by the interaction of the audience. There was an exam after the fourth speech followed by Validictory function. Mr. Montukumar M. Patel, President, GSPC grazed the occasion by his presence. He addressed the audience and made them aware regarding recent changes for the pharmacist. He also focused on future activities of the GSPC.

The program was success in all aspects. There were total 241 participants attended the event for both the days where breakfast, lunch and evening tea has been served to them for both days. Transportation facility has been provided for both days to more than 80 participants. Accommodation facility has been provided to more than 15 people to the university campus.
