GSPC Sponsored Course at A. R. College & G. H. Patel Institute of Pharmacy, Vallabh vidyanagar

A. R. College of Pharmacy & G. H. Patel Institute of Pharmacy had organized two days Refresher course for Registered Pharmacist on 13 th and 14 th July 2019 under the auspicious patronize of Gujarat State Pharma cy Council. Course director , Dr. Jolly Parikh (Incharge Principal and Professor, A. R. College of pharmacy , Vallabh Vidyanagar ), Course co - ordinator Ms. Hina L. Bagada (Asst. Professor ) and Co-coordinator Dr. Varsha J. Galani (HOD of Diploma ), President of the function Shri Montukumar Patel (President, GSPC) and Chief guest Dr. Rishit Zalavadiya (Senior Manager, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., Vadodara) inaugurated the function of two days GSPC refresher course. Total 116 Registered pharmacist form industry, academic, community and hospital pharmacist have attended two days GSPC refresher c ourse at A. R. College of Pharmacy.

A Welcome address and introduction of chief guest as well as president was given by Dr. Jolly parikh Course director, GSPC member and I/c Principal, A. R. College of Pharmacy & G. H. Patel Institute of Pharmacy, Vallabh Vidyanagar. Glimpse of refresher course was given by Ms. Hina L. Bagada, Co-ordinator with the explanation of the objective behind such initiatives.

The audience were addressed by the chief guest, Dr. Rishit Zalavadiya Fellow. He motivated students to be creative and upgrade their knowledge in the field of pharmacy. His thought provoking sentences shaped the perfect platform for the event. At last Shri Montukumar patel has motivated delegates with presidential remarks. He also gave information about the recent activities of Gujarat state pharmacy council. The vote of the thanks for the inaugural function was proposed by Dr. A. D. Captain, assistant professor, A.R. College of Pharmacy.

The function ended with written objective test given by 116 registered pharmacist delegates in two days GSPC refresher course. In Valedictory function, Chief guest Dr. Sandi p patel and GSPC member and I/C Principal Dr. Jolly R. Parikh had given motivational speech to all the registered pharmacist. Program report was presented by Co-ordinator, Dr. Varsha J. Galani. The vote of the thanks for the inaugural function was proposed by Dr. V. V, Karkhanish, assistant professor, A.R. College of Pharmacy.
